In September 2010, University of Birmingham students James Bunting and Isobel Nelson decided that, with the bleak graduate employment outlook, they would hire themselves into their own company. Spear PR was born out of a need to stand out in a competitive industry, a need to gain invaluable experience, but also as a means of experiencing the adventure of a PR career blindfolded. This blog is where we muse on our successes, failures, hopes, fears, and what the PR world looks like to us when we peek out from the student bubble and into the real world.
